The mysterious door in the darkness conceals one of Hong Kong's best-kept secrets.  Do not be fooled by the name "The Poet". They have the finest collection of cocktails instead books. 

There are no signs on the door so it may take you a little while to find the entrance. But once you noticed the eye-catching blue wall with a golden elevator-like entrance, you know you have come to the right place. Cannot find the way to enter? Worry not! Simply flick the small switch next to the door, and it will lead you on a remarkable journey.

Step back in time: A Classic 80s Movie Bar

The classic cocktail bar design will bring you back to the 80s. The marble tables and gold finishes with the dimly lit backlight wall mirrors, add a touch of grandeur and nostalgia to the atmosphere.

Beyond the aesthetic appeal, The Poet holds historical significance as well. This speakeasy bar is also a hidden historical treasure. It stands on the ground where Dr. Sun Yat-sen founded the Hong Kong headquarters of XingZhongHui (Revive China Society).
