THE FRINGE CLUB
WHERE CREATIVITY BLOSSOMS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE URBAN JUNGLE

In the bustling heart of Central, the Fringe Club is an oasis of art and culture in the middle of the towering skyscrapers. It is not only a building, but also a narrative of passion, creativity, and heritage which gathers architecture lovers, art enthusiasts, and urban life passionates to indulge in an unique experience.

Reviving Victorian Charm

Housed in the historic building of the Old Dairy Farm Depot, the Fringe Club stands out as a Grade-I heritage building. Its unique red and white brick facade makes it easy to spot. This building, crafted in the Victorian style in 1892, once served as a cold storage factory. Today, it has been transformed into a lively space for art in Hong Kong, showcasing visual arts exhibitions and theatrical performances. This change from a factory to an art hub shows an interesting mix of history and the modern world.

Journey into Artistic Realms

At the Fringe Club, the old has fused with the new to create a cultural experience unlike any other. The club has been an unwavering supporter of the arts since 1984, offering a welcoming platform for emerging and professional artists to present their creative materials. With an array of activities, including musical performances, dramas, poetry readings, and stand-up comedies, the Fringe Club isn't just an arts venue; it's the pulsating heart of Hong Kong's dynamic arts scene.

Beyond staff offices, the Fringe Club houses two studio theatres, three exhibition areas (including a dedicated photography gallery), and a rehearsal room. In the embrace of this artistic hub, you can revel in the enchanting rooftop garden, enjoy a mouthwatering meal at the restaurant, or unwind with a drink at the rooftop bar - a perfect spot for a casual hangout in Lang Kwai Fong (LKF). The club even sweetens the deal with happy hour offers and tantalizing tapas for an after-work chill-out.

One of the unique hallmarks of this vibrant venue is its role as the base for many art festivals. It has presented thousands of shows and exhibitions, including its own innovative productions and site-specific works such as immersive exhibition-cross-theatre experiences. The Hong Kong Fringe Festival, a marquee event that attracts local and international artists, underscores the club's commitment to nurturing talent and promoting original, innovative art.
